Sixmilebridge Youth Club was founded in 1982, with an initial membership of 30. Now in our 29th year, we have a bright and talented membership of over 90.
The club offers a wide range of sports, cultural and educational programmes. The Youth Club is also widely recognised for its hugely popular musical productions.

The self-confidence and sense of achievement that performing on stage can instill in our young people is truly a joy to behold. Throughout the years, the club has provided them with an opportunity to shine in a wide variety of staged musical productions.

In 2002, we ventured into the unknown, and set about producing our first Pantomime.  Such was its success, that it was decided to make Pantomime an annual event. Our most recent show, Alice in Wonderland, was our 10th such production and each year the stature of the youth club pantomime grows.

Productions such as these take a tremendous amount of preparation and dedication from both performers and organisers.  Script writing, auditions, rehearsals, costume design and preparation, set design etc are literally months in the making.

However, all of the preparation in the world would be worthless without the generous and enthusiastic support of the wonderful community of Sixmilebridge down through the years.
